I had lap band surgery over existing Gastric bypass on November 15th at 7pm. I was on a plane back home the following evening at 5:30 pm. I felt alot better after my surgery than I expected. I was apprehensive, at first. My wife had her surgery four weeks before I had mine. When she came back and survived ... well, I had to do something about my own weight problem.

I couldn't be happier about this surgery. Granted, willpower is still a major factor, as you will need to follow the liquid diet for a short period of time. The staff/coordinator's where wonderful, my flight was canceled then put on stand by only to be canceled at the end of the night, long day.
