The experience of the operation is behind me. All in all it wasn't bad. Little unnerving. The path I chose has been good. BEST decision ever (02/09/2016)
So after many years of fighting my weight, I found myself pushing 300 pounds and feeling horrible. I had even been to extremes, like crossfit and caveman diets, yuck. With little to no success.

Dr. Almanza and staff were extremely professional and my procedure went better than anticipated. Well it is amazing how fast a year has almost gone by. Today I got to see Dr.Almanza and ad a picture taken. I was skeptical of going to Mexico for vertical sleeve surgery but..... I can honestly say it was one of the best decisions of my life. I am 10 weeks out and have lost 49 pounds. My husband, two besties and I came to have surgery. Everyone did well but not at the same speed. We are at the airport waiting to return home.

Guests weren't needed and if you bring one please ask them to be courteous of the others who had surgery. We had great care!
