I had my surgery 15 months ago and I had a very good experience in Mexico. I have lost 40 pounds and even though I need to lose about 15 more, I am somewhat content with my loss.
I know what I need to do to lose the extra 15 pounds, I just need to get motivated again. I am still so happy that I am not gaining weight, because before my surgery I seemed to keep gaining a little more each year and now I can eat pretty much what I want, just smaller portions which has kept me from gaining.
My experience in Mexico was great, no problems or complications and if I ever decide to have any other elective surgeries I would go to Mexico because the price is great and since my insurance would not cover the sleeve I would never have been able to get it done.
The care in Mexico was great, maybe a little different than in the States, but I have no complaints.
