I am from Thunder Bay, Ontario,Canada. I have struggled with weight for years going on every possible diet you can think of. I found out about the wonderful work Dr.Almanza does through my father's wife who also had the gastric sleeve done at Jerusalem Hospital in Tijuana Mexico with great success. I am feeling great today and have had no complications. I travelled to Mexico with a group of others which made it so much more fun. The doctors and nurses there are very professional and personable. They are available to you whenever you need them. You stay in hospital but then you stay in a beautiful hotel afterward called the Ticuan. Having your own suite is very comfortable and actually better than a private room in any hospital I've ever stayed in. YES this is the real thing. I would recommend this surgery to anyone. I would have been waiting over 2 years to have this done in Canada. I have lost 23.5 lbs so far. There is a nurse that also stays at the hotel and is available at any time. A lot of Canadians may be leary about doing this but I do HIGHLY recommend it. Very good for people with diebetes, high blood pressure and I must say my back does feel better. Hope you can go for it and make the life changing decision I did. You won't regret it.
