All i can say is that i am so happy i made the decision to do this. i have been over weight for most of my life and i tried everything but each time i lost weight i ended up gaining more back. The way were treated my Dr. A's staff was five star. We were treated with respect, the hospital was first class, clean and felt very confident there with the best of care. The hotel we stayed at while we recovered was also 5 star. there were 24 hour security guards there and during the day we even ventured out for a walk and did some shopping. The most important part of all of this is after the surgery. If you do not listen to what the doctor tells you to do dont have this operation. You HAVE to not lift push or pull anything for at least 4 weeks after the op. if you do not want complications dont do anything stupid. To me the most important part is after the surgery. I am now 5 weeks post op and i am just starting to feel normal, like i had no operation. My family were great supporters in helping me around the house. Make sure you walk, walk, walk. It will keep your muscles in shape and working since there is not that much more u can do just to be safe.
The things i have noticed with my body since the operation is.
my ski feels like velvet - it is so smooth and soft.
no more hot flashes, seriously
no more type 2 diabetes. . . i am off my meds totally
no more headaches - prob because i am eating so healthy now and not shoving the junk into my mouth
i am happier and more calm. I seem to appreciate the simpler things in life now. Maybe this is because i am finally loosing the weight and that is what i wanted for 25 years.
That is just a sample of the things i have noticed about myself since the surgery and its ony been 5 weeks. Cant wait to see how i will feel in 3 months. I have lost 30 pounds in 4 weeks. Amazing!!
Thank-you Dr. A and your staff for everything.
I DO NOT WANT MY REAL NAME LISTED ANYWHERE ONLY USE BUNNY PLEASE.
