Let me tell you about my experience with Dr. Almanza…it was excellent! The decision to get
surgery outside of the United States was an amazing journey. After extensive research on the different types of bariatric surgeries, I decided the gastric sleeve was the best option for me. While doing research, I noticed that traveling to Mexico for bariatric surgery was quite common and very affordable.

When I discovered my health insurance did not cover weight-loss surgery; I decided to reach out to several of the bariatric surgery facilities in Mexico. The 24/7 nursing staff and level of care at the recovery house exceeded my expectations.
