I had a goal and a deadline, and months passed without me getting one step closer. You see, I'm signed up for a cruise, I've reserved all my shore excursions, and I am not willing to give up even one of them. I need to be able to walk comfortably, and for hours maybe. At my previous weight of 237 lbs. on a 5' 2" frame, that was highly unlikely.
I had tried Jenny Craig last summer, thinking I had plenty of lead time, but in 3 months I lost only 14 lbs., and then it quit working altogether. Then began months of consulations with various doctors, with no weight loss results whatsoever. My deadline was looming, and I was getting worried. I would have to take my weight loss into my own hands.
I researched on the internet and found Dr. Almanza and the Jerusalem Hospital, and their caring consultants at WeightLossAgents.com. With a note from my doctor and the results of my latest tests in hand I began my journey to the slimmer, healthier me. I was able to get a surgery date within days. I drove down to San Diego from Los Angeles, met up with others scheduled for the same day surgery, and we quickly formed a bond. The hospital staff got us placed in the 4 Star hotel, took us the next morning to the hospital, looked after us wonderfully throughout the surgery and all that day and night, as we stayed at the hospital overnight. They were there with whatever we needed at the push of a button, and later, back at the hotel, at a quick phone call.
I was amazed at how quickly we were all up and about. I was back at work on Monday. And the best of all? I've already lost 21 lbs.! I AM ON MY WAY!!!

Dear Weight Loss Agents, Jerusalem Hospital and Dr. Almanza,
I want to update you all on my progress. But first I want to thank you all for the way my surgery and all the details surrounding it were handled: smoothly, efficiently and caringly.
I have to say that I feel like the poster child for your hospital and this surgery. Everything, and I do mean every thing, has gone exactly as described to me and how I anticipated it would. Since my July 10th surgery I have lost 65 pounds so far and I am now at the stage where the weight loss is slower but still steady. I no longer take pain pills for my knees and hips because they are no longer having to bear that additional burden. And I was able to walk all over Greece and Italy on my cruise's shore excursions in late September/early October, which was one of my main goals when I came to you.
Now I can eat everything on the menu, but I don't because I am aware, thanks to your tips, of those foods which are not conducive to further weight loss. I am approaching the holiday (rich food) season confidently because I know that even if I have rich food in front of me I can only eat so much of it, and I am going to be able to make better choices even with the little I do eat.
I am looking better in my clothes, and am even attracting attention for it. I can now get back into some clothes I had almost given up hope of ever wearing again, some of my all-time favorites.
I am healthier, happier, more attractive, more active. I can easily walk a mile at a time and I do so frequently.
So, being mindful that the season for being thankful has begun, let me express how very thankful I am to you, and for you.
God bless you all.
Sincerely,
Marilyn White
